Gothic Glam Makeup - Witch Couture

Halloween is the perfect time to embrace your inner dark side, and what better way to do it than with stunning gothic glam makeup?

The Witch Couture look combines classic witch elements with glamor, perfect for those wanting to channel their inner enchantress.

Here’s how to create this bewitching look:

Base

For a soft glam appearance, start with a medium-coverage foundation that gives a matte finish. A little contouring can add depth to your features, focusing on the cheekbones and jawline.

Don’t be fooled by the name! We used Ben Nye’s Pale Vampire cream foundation for this look. It’s super spreadable and can keep your skin looking natural while still bringing in a spooky base. We also lightly contoured with reds and greens from Ben Nye’s Master Bruise palette.

Eyes

Create a smokey eye with deep colors like forest green, black, or plumb. Add some glitter or shimmer to the center of the lid to make your eyes pop. And what’s a witch without her cat (eye)?

We’re loving Ben Nye’s pearl sheens for this look. We combined Green Envy and Nightclub for a smokey eye and added Moonlight to the inner corners for a pop. Make sure to get a good blending brush to get that smokey effect, we love Ben Nye's Bullet Blender. The green eyeshadow is a fun homage to vintage green witches, or it could double as a low-effort Elphaba cosplay!

Our cat eye is sharp enough to cut a man thanks to Ben Nye’s Precision Liquid Eyeliner. And for an extra level of glam, we added some amazing Black Eyelashes with Silver Glitter by Fever.

Lips

When it comes to witch lips, the darker the better – think deep plum or black. You can also opt for a classic red if you want a more traditional witch vibe.

We went as dark as possible and used a simple black lipstick. For how affordable this lipstick is, it’s such a steal. It goes on easy with a great consistency, and it’s not too greasy. Plus it has amazing staying power!

Finishing Touches

The witch look is easy to complete – all you need is a black shirt and a wide-brimmed hat!

We went for a classic black witch hat with a velvet bow. But this could be a great opportunity for a pop of color! We sell the same hat in orange or purple, both of which scream Halloween.

High drama, low effort

The Witch Couture is the perfect gothic glam look, ensuring you look fabulous this Halloween. The key is to balance elegance with a hint of the eerie, allowing you to express your unique style while embracing the spooky spirit of the season.

So grab your makeup brushes, unleash your creativity, and get ready to enchant everyone this Halloween!
