Can I wear colored contacts for Halloween?
In Chicago Halloween or costume contact lenses must be ordered through a licensed eye doctor. Chicago Costume does not sell contact lenses.
Are you open all year round?
Yes, we are open all year round at our Lincoln Park and Portage Park stores, and we sell Santa Costumes, Easter Bunny Costumes, St Patrick's, Kentucky Derby and many other holiday costumes
Do we rent costumes?
Yes, Chicago Costume rents adult size costumes, like disco, Princess and Super Hero costumes, and Histroical Costumes. Our rental costumes are ornate, theatrical quality, and different from retail costumes. If you are interested in renting a costume, contact us or learn more here.
Where do we ship to?
We ship out of Chicago, Illinois Monday-Friday until 3pm CST. We currently ship within the United States, and are working hard to expand our shipping worldwide. If you would like to place an international order, please contact chicagocostume@gmail.com
How long has Chicago Costume been in business?
Chicago Costume has been selling and renting costumes since the 1970's. We are a family-owned business run by three generations of the Hickey-Panayotou family.
Where can I buy Halloween costumes in Chicago?
Chicago Costume is open year round and sells costumes for adults and kids at 1120 West Fullerton Avenue in Lincoln Park just south of Wrigley Field and near DePaul Univeristy and 4727 West Montrose Avenue in Portage Park near the 90/94 expressway and the CTA Blue Line station.
